COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Bibb Family Practice conducts a COVID-19 screening and temperature check before individuals enter the building.

In addition to our COVID-19 screening and temperature check, all patients are required to wear a mask or face covering. Individuals opposed to or unable to wear a mask, are encouraged to book a Telehealth visit from the convenience of their home or vehicle. Only patients that are being seen will be allowed to enter our building unless patient requires the assistance of another individual or patient is under the age of 18.

Bibb Family Practice is taking certain measures to ensure we are protecting our patients, providers, and staff. If you are experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection, fever, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, we will ask you to complete your visit via telehealth.

Social Distancing

To prevent the spread of disease we will ensure everyone maintains 6-feet between each other at all times. In some cases, we may have patients wait in their car until being called in for their appointment.

Fever Checking and COVID-19 Screening Questionaire

All staff and patients will have their temperature checked and will complete a screening questionnaire as their enter our facilities. Anyone with a temperature above the threshhold set by management will have to wait in their car until checking with a provider on next steps.

Wearing Masks at All Times

Our staff will wear masks at all times and we are asking that all patients wear face coverings inside of our building.

TeleVisits

We will continue to promote Televisits for any condition and/or symptoms that do not require an in-person exam.
